I liked the story – but I would have preferred the heroine to be a little less invincible and a little more trusting; and the hero to be a little less like Beast. Callihan makes creative use of the restrictions of the couple’s secrets in fairly steamy sex scenes; it also helps that the heroine isn’t a blueblood blushing virgin.
